Description

The Alexander and Wilks Thumbturn releases are carefully crafted to high quality, to be finished with a traditionally simple oval knob with a neat raised edge design on the rose.

This thumbturn come in; Antique Brass, Polished Nickel and Unlacquered Brass, with two visible screw fixings to enable an easy, quick and secure fix.

The inspiration behind Alexander & Wilks reflects the heritage of Britain’s engineering and design expertise. The history of aficionados and anglophiles amongst you will recognise that the brand takes its name from two of Britain’s most famous engineers; Sir Alexander Issigonis and Maurice Wilks; the designers of the original Mini and Land Rover respectively. As well as representing some of the very best of British design, these two cars happen to be personal favourites of the company’s Managing Director, with a number of these vehicles have made up part of his personal collection over many years.
